When I was there a couple weeks ago they did.
They are not closed, the sign apparently was placed by Pima County Health Department something about they need to have roof repair but they are not shut down for the problem. Call ahead if you're not sure!
They do pick up and delivery but the delivery area is limited
Lovely little place. Has traditional as well as vegan/Vegetarian menu
Not sure how this place had such good reviews. Thought I would try it based on that and the pic of the Mongolian Beef looked good. I ordered and then went to pick up and the lady said $13.99… 🤔 Ok I thoughtmaybe it was like a family size meal or something. Then when the order was ready it was too small boxes. One with white rice. The other box although slightly larger when opened wasnt even full. The food was ok but not $14 good, especially for the size provided. I wont be back!
I love this restaurant! Great food, friendly people! I have never been dissatisfied with any meal I have gotten! just tried a Strawberry Snow Smoothie with Boba pearls, and suggest you try one of these tasty drinks!
Now serving dim sum!. We had already enjoyed their delicious regular menu and great lunch specials. Went for dim sum yesterday and it was great. All the classic dishes were well prepared and steaming hot. Great service.
Best chinese food in tucson
This is some of the saddest Asian food I've ever had. The pad thai was basically fettuccine noodles with sriracha and crumbled peanuts. The result is wet, spicy noodles with zero flavor punctuated by awkward crunching of what are basically full-sized peanuts. The fried wontons were a complete lie. Basically, someone took a square wonton noodle, and pinched it carefully to give the illusion of having a filling and deep fried it. So what I got was basically deep fried noodle knots. The only thing that tasted good was the sesame chicken, but the bits of chicken looked they were scraped off the pan after the actual chicken was cooked--most of the pieces of chicken were pea-sized or smaller. Definitely will never eat here again.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Tucson! I ordered takeout due to the pandemic and the food was still hot and the orange chicken came with the sauce and chicken separate so it wouldn’t get soggy. We paid $30 and had two days worth of food. It would’ve been three days but we couldn’t stop eating because it was that good. My husband has never liked lo mein and he LOVED the one from here. Highly recommend!
I don't do this but I had to today. My husband and I decided to try a new Chinese Restaurant and boy was that was a huge mistake. We ordered Egg Fu Yong, Orange Chicken, Egg rolls. All of it was awful. None of it had any taste. The sauces were separated, that's fine but the Orange sauce was nothing but a suger orange color water sauce, the Egg Fu Yong sauce was nothing but a container of concentrated salt bomb. The Egg Rolls were mushy. Don't eat at this place. Go somewhere else, don't lose your money. This place is very disappointing and is a very bad representation of Chinese food.
It's nice...miss our old Oriental restaurant.... Still looking 4 something like it
Stay away. Our broccoli beef looked like beef, but smelled and tasted like fish. The cashew chicken meat was scary. It was like 2 days old, rubbery, low quality, greasy. Kung pao edible, but barely, and greasy. If I had time or energy I'd drive back there and get my $40 back.
This was a nice little place to grab a bite. Parking wasn't the easiest, but the food looked great and tasted okay. Portions were much smaller than a traditional restraunt of this type. I would probably go back and try it once more just to taste another dish.
So, you know when you want Chinese food, and just want...Chinese food? Noodles, rice, meat, little containers, no crazy surprises, no fancy fusion concoctions? Like, I'm hungry. Chinese? Yes. Good. Thank you.So...why 5 stars? Why not 4? Because they had a young tween girl running the show...hear me out. It wasn't like they were understaffed, or lazy, or whatever. The owners or management just let her take over the front, like the boss that she is 😎 Taking orders, ringing up, asking the right questions, super mature and composed. She was running things better than many managers I have worked for in the past. For any hand-wringers who might be nervous about safety and child labor laws...yes, she was being supervised. But she honestly doesn't need it. Good on her parents for allowing her to embody her potential...and not just give her a screen and sit in a booth until the restaurant closes...here's real life, young lady. You're doing great 😄😎
Wait time is minimal. The service of wait staff and quick and often. Your food choices are prepared and served quickly and hot. You'll have plenty of extra food for another meal at home. If you arrive for lunch they have a special that gives you a choice of soup, appetizer, rice choice and a smaller portion size entree. All food choices are tasty and their chicken served is white not dark. The menu includes an extensive vegan choices. My favorite treat is the hot ginger tea.
Great food, and very good friendly service! First time costumers and will be coming back.
Goooood food. Always reccomend this place to everyone because their food is so healthy and amazing.
Great food good service eat here once a week
We love the tasted, the vegan mongolian beef was delicious! Good job !
Service was ok... food was ok. Don’t get the sesame chicken though. It’s my favorite but it was horrible. The taste was alright but it was thin and very chewy and hard...I don’t recommend this place for that. Crab puffs are alright though...fried rice is decent.. Overall I won’t order here again..
Fresh tasty delicious food. Highly recommended.
I ordered from Guilin for delivery and was disappointed with the two dishes I requested. The house special fried rice was barely cooked white rice and the Chefs special seafood combination was bland with very little scallops, a fair amount of shrimp and calamari. They added the a good bit of the fake crab meat which was tasteless and not on the menu ingredients. The meal was very expensive once they added the service charge, the delivery charge , the tax and the $4.00 tip the two dishes came to over $40.00. And not much food compared with other restaurants I frequent. Sorry but that’s what it was.
The lunch specials are always delicious, affordable and served quickly. Choose an entree with your choice of rice, soup, and egg rolls/crab puffs. The tea here is also a nice treat and served in a tea-pot.
Very good and fast during lunch. Ordered shrimp lomein and it was delicious and very fast
Came here twice in two days. Really like their vegan menu, which is totally vegan. Water also taste good, without breach smell. Hot and sour soup is the reason why they don't get my 5 stars. Price is very attractive!
One of my favorites I love their food and great prices
Always great service and delicious food generous portions for reasonable expense.
Not sure if it's much different from dining in, but I ordered through doordash. The chicken teriyaki was little slivers of not too flavorful chicken swimming in teriyaki sauce. Very disappointing. The crab puffs were good though...
Overall a great experience! I arrived in Tucson around 3pm and wanted to go for a late lunch since I was starving after a long drive. Friendly staff, fast service, delicious food and clean place. I will definitely stop by again :)
Great food great service very friendly place 👍
In Tucson Chinese food is all the same, however this place actually has spicy hot chili oil. I can't say that about other places
Staff was very friendly. I ordered Kung Pao shrimp with egg drop soup and crab puffs. The soup and puffs were great. The Kung Pao is pretty bland and doesn't seem to have the correct flavor profile. Instead of spicy and zesty it's more hearty and earthy. They probably have some great entrees here but I would recommend the Kung Pao.
Everything so good here come to enjoy your lunch and dinner and everyone so nice people
Loved our visit there! Nice people, great food for the price, and fast service.
The food here is fantastic but I am hoping that my next visit will be better. We ordered ahead of time for take-out and it took much longer than we were told. Somebody came in after we arrived (when our take-out was supposed to be ready), ordered on the spot and received their food before us. Our order was not big or complicated. We also weren't given any silverware which wouldn't have been a problem if we weren't staying in a hotel or had noticed before we got back to our hotel.
I have tasted better. I had the beef with two mushrooms... not exactly mouth watering. Service was mediocre. Didn’t ask us if we wanted a drink, really didn’t care whether we ordered or not... this place is not on my return list.
I ordered from delivery Kung Pao Chicken. The food was hot when it arrived. The Kung Pao was horrible. The vegetables were so fibrous I had to spit them out. The chicken (if that is what is was) was cut into huge pieces and was rubbery. It tasted like fish. I threw all of it away because it was terrible. I will never order again.
Fast and delicious. Portions are very good as well. Super friendly staff, great experience overall.
Very nice & clean Chinese restaurant with good food and amazing service. They had limited time dim sum in summer and were delicious. A la carte menu is good too and food taste is good. Food is not oily at all and they don’t use MSG in their cooking. Vegan options are also available.
The service and foods are outstanding! Two thumbs up!
Great place. Friendly staff. Ordered the House Pad Thai and it was delicious. Just enough spiciness to wake up your palette.
Food was ready quickly, order was correct, and they have the best fried rice and honey walnut shrimp I've had to date. Definitely recommend!
Good customer service and good food.
I liked it. Tasted fresh, but well cooked. Very delicious. They were friendly with us and polite. In sitting wise, theres plenty of space, very clean very neat.
Clean and beautiful interior, friendly staff. Big portions for the lunch special, and lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The vegetables all seemed very fresh, except for the mushrooms which were rubbery and bland. The sauces on both disheswere pretty flavorless. We would come back again to try different plates, but hopefully there's more flavor next time. Thank you!
My wife wanted Chinese food. I am vegan and so found this restaurant on Happy Cow. I ordered the Mongolian vegi beef. It was good. The portion size was good. My wife liked the house special that she ordered. She took home extras.
I love this place! I moved from tucson and miss coming here for lunch.
Nice egg foo young
My son Johnathan loves the food here.
Service used to be excellent. 1 waitress in specific, always depends on what mood shes in.
I'm sorry, Guilin used to be our favorite restaurant, but the food has really gone downhill and after three really badly cooked meals in a row, we decided to stop going there. Tried it again and my food was almost raw. Couldn't eat it. For some reason they seem incapable of properly cooking a meal.
